I have been blogging on and off since 2002 when I gave up earning a living as a paralegal (notice I didn't say I stopped working?) to become a SAHM after the birth of my oldest son. We were living in Illinois and I found myself without my friends or family and in much need of communicating with other moms in the same situation. Three kids and three states later I am still blogging and I am still friends with alot of those moms from the early days! I love my friends in the computer!

My reasons being being
I have been happily married to my soulmate and best friend {J} for 13 years now. We are the blessed, stressed and bewildered parents of three little boys {H} age 9, {O} age 7, and {JJ} age 5. Having never been a boy myself (duh) they confuse me on a daily basis with their need to fart, burp and constantly have a hand down the front of their pants but all in all I love being a mom to all boys. The only drawback is boys don't care about knitting *sigh* but the one good thing is I don't have to share my Hello Kitty collection. (Yah, I have a Hello Kitty collection. And I am okay with that. )
In 2008 after living in Illinois and Arizona for a combined total of 10 years we decided to move back home to Colorado to raise our boys which was a great decision. We love to share our interest in the great outdoors with our boys.
I love to knit (Yeaah! Self taught, no lessons. Thank you very much, Pop! (wedding singer quote I love!) and when I am not knitting I daydream about knitting, yarn and how to manuever a certain pattern. I even dream about knitting. I am currently in the process of opening my own online hand dyed yarn business which has been in the works for almost 2 years now but recently I decided to just go for it! (Update: it's still in the works!)
Currently I am a fulltime student working my ass off to earn a B.S. in nursing, I will probably be a geriatric nurse. No seriously, by the time I graduate I will probably be a geriatric myself. When I am not studying or in class I am with my boys, taking photos, baking, being artsy-fartsy, playing games or knitting.
{T} LOVE's:
Coffee, chocolate, yarn, snuggling with my three boys and getting alone time with my hubby {J} which is rare.
{T} Dislikes:
Lables and people who live by them. I have certain beliefs in how I parent but I don't need a label to define me. I do what's right for me and my kids. So far, it has worked well for us.
