Trying to stick to a budget

I went to the library today and picked up a few knitting books  I had on hold and “Don’t Panic More Dinner’s in the Freezer” cookbook was in!

Woohoo, just in time since I need to go grocery shopping tomorrow. I also found another neat book called “The $5 Dinner Mom cookbook” by Erin Chase. Click on the link to see here website, she has more recipes there too.

I am not much of a cook, that’s always been hubby’s domain. I am a baker and can whip up a kick ass batch of cookies or fudge any day of the week but a family can’t live off fudge so I have been trying to cook more. With the help of recipes I don’t do so bad. For the most part. It’s hard when you have a foodie for a husband. He’s such a food snob, seriously. Have I ever mentioned that his dream is to become a chef? It is. Well, that and a fly-fishing guide but he’s always been the cook in our family so it’s always been hard to impress him with my skills or lack thereof! LOL Anyhow, if any of you have more links or book ideas I’d love to hear about them!
