You don’t realize how good you have things….

until your sick as a dog  bowing to the porcelain queen the entire weekend. At first I thought I had food poisoning but no one in the family got sick (THANK GOD) and we all ate the same foods. It especially worried me because the night I decide to make a nice dinner it’s the night I get sick and of course since I am not that great of a cook I thought I somehow managed to give myself food poisoning and the hubs and kids weren’t far behind but like I said no one else got sick.

Last night I was at the moment where I wanted to die. Seriously. All I can say is thank god it was the weekend and hubby was home because had it been during the week I don’t think I could have manage to take care of the kids let alone get them to school safely.

I am not sure what is going on with me but since January 1st I have had strep twice, one sinus infection, two bouts of bronchitis and now the flu. This is getting ridiculous. It worries me about taking a job at a preschool now. How many more times can I get sick this year!? Once my stomach settles I am going to start taking a Vitamin B complex with C and Zinc to try and help out my immunity. Any suggestions from anyone would be greatly appreciated.  Well, I am off to rest now. BYE!

(Well I just got off the phone with my doctor’s office and they don’t think I have the flu because they haven’t seen a case of flu in months. The nurse think its just an intestinal virus and wants me to come in to get IV fluids since I haven’t been able to keep anything down for so long. Yeah, that’s going to happen. I could barely drive my kids to school this morning and I have a 4 year old to take care of. This sucks!)

  1. The stomach bug is always horrible! I'm so sorry it has hit you so hard. Really hope no one else gets sick. Our whole household just went through a short lived stomach bug and today I spent the whole day cleaning and disinfecting. Hope you feel better very soon.

  2. Thanks Christina! Thankfully I was the only one to get sick, but to be honest I am so sick of getting sick this year! I think I am just stressing myself out with school, money and everything else that goes with life and it's hurting my immunity. I wish I could take a break from it all. Just for a week. A nice vacation on the beach, alone.
