Starting my week with positive thoughts! Tomorrow is my first Weight Watchers meeting and I am so ready to get started. I just hope I won’t get snowed in! Apparently on The Weather Channel we have a Winter Weather Advisory and could get up to another 8” of snow by tomorrow afternoon. We already have around 6” on the ground as it is since it snowed all weekend which allowed me to spend some free time knitting ! Here are a few photos of the Shroom hat from Knitty that I completed. I wasn’t in the mood to model the hat so my sweet husband agreed to.
It turned out really nice even though I didn’t use the recommended yard. It doesn’t “slouch” as much which actually is fine by me the slouch helps the hat to fit my large head! LOL My head is larger than my husbands and I have a hard time finding a hat to fit comfortably without looking like I am wearing a kids hat!
I also knit another hat. My son Jack wanted a hat for his Webkinz lion and who am I to turn down knitting a hat for a stuffed animal? Here’s my baby with his lion wearing his new hat. Basically it’s a variation of the Umbilical hat. I just winged it and hoped it would work out.
